Interior Alterations & New Gable Opening

archihive were asked to create an open plan living space within a historic former shippon building. The client was keen to maximise natural light and also connect indoor and outdoor spaces. As part of a whole house renovation, archihve proposed internal alterations and the removal of the existing roof above the living space. This created a vaulted ceiling, giving the opportunity to introduce roof lights and form a large new gable opening to allow the space to be flooded with natural light.
